Making Friends - an art doll shadow box... Item Sold
Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has struggled with in vain. (Carl Jung)
Creating a Shadow Box can offer a unique creative and emotionally expressive outlet. An image, scene, dream, memory or wild imagination can inspire your individual shadow box. My shadow box theme was inspired by the 1896 painting `On the wallaby track' by Australian painter Frederick McCubbin.

There is an endless source of items readily available to be used including handmade art, toy miniatures and vintage treasures. The boxes themselves can be made by hand using timber or recycled from cardboard or paper boxes. Newspapers, photos, book pages and scrapbooking materials call all be used for decorating the interior of your box.
Hi, Sherrie
ReplyDeleteYour dolls are fabulous! And I adore shadow boxes too. I would love to post your blog link on my blog. Just let me know if that is okay with you. Your dolls are so special they need to be blogged about! Which I will mention your Etsy site too, if you would like?
